Dr. Gehrke is an assistant professor at NAU in the Department of Geography, Planning, and Recreation. He received his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Portland State University in 2017 and was most recently a senior transportation researcher for the Metropolitan Area Planning Council in Boston, Massachusetts. His research areas include sustainable transportation planning and travel behavior, with a focus on walking, cycling, and emerging mobility services.
